Zombies!!! 11 Suggested Rule Changes
- All tiles are shuffled and placed face down before the game starts.
- The center tiles may be entered from any of the 3 sides and the tile is rotated to match the door that a player came through.
- When a player reaches the entrance to a tile they may choose to turn that tile over and look in the room. When turning over a tile the player whose turn it is rolls for zombies/tokens as normal but the player to that person’s right then places the zombies/tokens.
- Tokens are selected at random (blindly) and may not be specified by any player.
- Optional: Tokens may be played and placed face down.
- When entering an Office that is not a Directors Office if a player rolls an 11 or 12 when placing zombies/tokens then a Director token is also placed on the back middle square of the tile. If this results in there not being enough tokens to fill the Directors Offices then it is assumed that the Director got up to go do something in the other room.
- Players may only escort 1 Director at a time.
- When a Director is collected by a player that player must move directly towards the entrance as if the “Fire Alarm” card had just been played.
- If a player kills the ZCEO and subsequently dies, that player then becomes the ZCEO. Place the ZCEO token on the spot that player died in and complete the rest of the turn as if the player had died normally.
- When rolling for zombie movement 3 things can happen:
- The player may move the number of zombies shown on the dice 1 square
- The player may move 1 zombie the full number of squares shown on the dice. If a zombie encounters a player during this movement they must stop and the remaining squares of movement are ignored.
- The player may add zombies to any one tile unoccupied by either a player or a zombie equal to the number shown divided by 2 and rounded down. i.e. 1 = 0, 2/3 = 1, 4/5 = 2, and 6 = 3.
- These options may not be combined
- Optional: At the end of the game all players roll the dice and add that number to the number of votes they have collected.
